CMC has a Minder

My mother phoned this morning at 9.30 saying she couldn’t get out of bed so would I mind going in past and making her breakfast and doing the dishes.  I drove the 12 miles there, blue lights flashing; outriders etc, to find that she’d had her breakfast and had just finished the dishes.  No mention of the phone call.  Just a chat about John Clare and Freddie Jones.  I think she was trying to test my reflexes.

We had another visit from Emily Jane McLeod today.  Because the wind momentarily decreased we sat by the Flow and chatted.

Dancing this evening, well what else could it be?
