Progress

Our Arnside/Silverdale Landscape Trust weekend continued with the Exhibition open for a second day.
Among the many stalls and displays was this one from the Silverdale WI.

There is a feeling that we are beginning to make some progress on the plastics challenge. Many more people are now shopping with mesh bags for their fruit and veg and you can have you washing up liquid in refillable glass bottles. And it is said we shall soon be able to buy our milk in returnable glass bottles tool
But there is a very long way to go.

My extra shows something that caught my eye n a another stall. A simple and attractive little model. Think I would like one for Christmas. Then if the day ever comes when I can no longer go out on the hills I can sit and let it remind me of past pleasures.
