An old haunt

“One cannot think well, love well and sleep well if one has not dined well.” Virginia Woolf

When I was in my twenties, some 40 years ago, whenever I was in Edinburgh with friends or with work I always tried to eat at Hendersons. I remember the array of glorious salads and puddings. Yesterday when I got off the bus from Aberdeen I was starving so thought I’d head there before visiting the family.
