Heading North again
I think this photo must be somewhere around Perthshire.
I was taking random snaps out of the bus window on my journey.
I'd really intended a photo of Aunty Anjey for my blip but when I got to Inverness to her Care Home, I had such a lovely time with her that I forgot and it was only when I was rushing down in to the town for the return bus that I realised.
I'd taken a note book in which I'd stuck old photos which belonged to her. I gave her a pencil with a rubber at the end and told her her homework was to see if she could remember any of the people in the photos. She loved this idea, her having had a career of teaching.
Anyway, we had lots of laughs as usual and it was sad to leave her knowing that I lived too far away to be a regular visitor. However Donald and I will, together, be doing a flying visit next week.
The return bus was apprehended by the police in Aviemore, one car pulling in to block our way, another at the back of us and police men and women boarding the bus. They were on the look-out for some villain or another but he turned out to be not on our bus, mis-information. I've noticed that there seem to be a police woman for every police man these days.
