Silly Surfing Saturday

We had a super chill day today. It had rained and there had been lots of lightening overnight. The sky was grey and yet it was still warm. People were ‘claiming their sun beds’ early even though the beds were still wet.

We didn’t venture out till after lunch. There were still plenty of sun beds to claim. I’ve read 2 books so far this holiday and have taken the plunge into reading ibooks (yes I know it’s taken me a while).

Surf was up today and I was fascinated to watch them catching the 4-5 foot waves, there was a high tide too. After dinner we went for a stroll along the beach and took some shots of the surfers. There were a few of us taking advantage of their watery antics. Even Tom deliberately got his feet wet and sand between his toes, he hates sand with a passion (laughs) perhaps the wine helped!
