Another Friday, another leaving lunch

Sad day today as we said goodbye to another of our colleagues. Great news for him and we wish him all the best in his new job.

This Indian restaurant is about 4 doors down from our offices and we are often tantalised by the cooking smells if we have windows open. We had a nice lunch and went back to a very quiet office for the rest of the afternoon.

I took the car into town after work and looked around some of the shops to see if there were any sales bargains left. Not much I could see. Met up with Husband and sons in a new restaurant for tea (they had been to the cinema). Son number one is a great fan of this small chain and was delighted to find one had opened in Reading. It was very busy but that gave us chance to think about which of the eight veggie burgers we wanted....don't think I've ever had such a big veggie choice. Son number one's onion bahjee burger probably got the prize for best looking but the others (falafel, spinach and lentil and classic) were all very good. Nice to be out for a meal as a family.
