PicklersPalooza

It was wet and windy today and I wondered whether it was a good idea to go to PicklersPalooza at the Birch Bay Activity Center, but I went and was glad that I did. There was a lot going on indoors and outside, and it didn't rain. 
I ran into a lot of pickleball friends -- some of whom I hadn't seen for a while -- and had a good time playing against people and the Turtle. The Turtle is a machine that devours balls and spits them out at you over the net. The Turtle won, but I did manage to hit four balls through the hoop target placed on top of the net, and won a small microfiber towel, complete with a carabiner!
