London Town

A challenging morning of travel with sheet metal attacking trains in Balcombe tunnel. All trains to London have to go through that tunnel. I met new friends sharing a taxi to Gatwick from Hayward’s Heath and forced myself on the only train leaving Gatwick. All good, just an hour and a half late in the end.

Hannah and I walked the Regent Canal, peering in at the zoo and chatting to a lady who lived on a boat. Then we went to the pub until home time, talking all the normal shite. A topless bus arrived with this very smart wedding party, all with amazing shoes. And then we saw Andrew Marr twice.

And now I’m on a stinky train going home. Am hoping the sheet metal palapa is all sorted.
