Goal

Tess & I enjoyed this morning's park run in beautiful Autumnal sunshine and pleased with our times after our busy week.

This afternoon Chris & I enjoyed another exciting game at Huish Park as Yeovil ran out 3-2 winners against AFC Fylde. From top to bottom the collage shows Rhys Murphy (right of photo in green & white) lining up the free kick from which he opened the scoring in the 5th minute, then wheeling away in celebration to be mobbed by his team mates.

We scored an excellent second nine minutes later and could have had two or three more in the first half when we played some fluent, exciting football. We made heavier weather of the second half, conceding a sloppy goal and surviving a lot of pressure before we scored another excellent goal. With 4 minutes to go Fylde scored again to set up a nervy finish although we could have scored another couple of goals ourselves.

Our fourth win in a row, this moved us up to 4th in the table. Once again there was an excellent atmosphere in the stadium throughout the game. Heady days indeed.
