Alternative

We attended a wedding today

Alternative because it was a humanist Jewish wedding and I did not know anyone not even the bride or groom. We were there from early morning when my husband gave the guests a nature walk. He had met the groom once before being invited.  There were circus acts and walks and mud and everyone wore wellies and bright clothing.

The service was in an Apache teepee and was very participatory. The bride and groom are in their solar heated outside bath in this shot where I was asked to take some photos of them for their album which was fun. I have put one in extras of them in full wedding gear walking through the woods plus one of the inside of the teepee.

Later in the afternoon an icecream van with free ice cream turned up much to KK's joy.  Tonight they are around the campfire eating burgers but we chose to leave before that.
