Captured!!!

I've been to the park twice today. Yay! This morning I met a little 8 month old Spaniel puppy. I've met him before but this morning he was right at the top of the hill and was just about to leave the park when I went zooming over to see him. When he saw me coming he got ever so excited and we ran about for ages together. His owner was at the top of the hill and Ann was at the bottom of the hill so we played 'capture'. We raced up and down the hill after each other and whoever captured the other puppy first had to stand over him/her and pin them down.

This is a Blip of me capturing the little Spaniel, but sometimes he captured me.

He was ever so bouncy. In fact Ann actually thought that he was more bouncy than me. And I'm very, very, bouncy.

But then, do you know what happened?.......................... Ann shouted, 'Trixie come.' I was at the very top of the hill but do you know what I did? I came?!!! Ann was amazed. I never normally come when I'm playing with puppies. I went racing back to Ann and she gave me loads of praise and treats. But the little Spaniel pup had followed me because he didn't want to stop playing so we were allowed to have a few more mins of playtime.

However, Spaniel puppy's owner obviously wanted to go home and Spaniel pup was ignoring him when he called. Eventually Spaniel pups owner walked off and 'hid'. Obviously thinking that Spaniel pup would go looking for him, but he didn't because he was having too much fun with me.

Ann put me on my lead. Not because I'd been naughty but she thought that the Spaniel pup might realise that playtime was over and he had to go back to his owner. He didn't. He continued to bounce around and jump on top of me. Ann had to capture him and keep hold of him while his owner walked all the way down the hill and put him back on his lead.

…..................And Ann felt like the smuggest puppy mummy ever because I'd done what I was told and had behaved like a perfect pooch.

Today Ann is very, very, pleased with me. Yay!!!!
