The hiring

I followed the usual morning routine of shop and coffee with friends before returning to ring at a wedding.  Unusually the couple wanted all twelve bells rung so a team had to be assembled from various quarters. I returned for a walk in the sunshine before setting about cleaning and reassembling a tricky little clock.  I had the cricket on in the background so it was no hardship. I noticed this new statue in the marketplace entitled "The Hiring, " quite appropriate for a market town.
