Guard (off)duty

A forties weekend is taking place at Sheringham and I visited with an old friend. Lots of enthusiasts were dressed up in 1940s styles and military uniform, old cars, jeeps and some armoured vehicles of the time were on display.

It is a popular and very busy event so it's difficult to get satisfactory photographs with all the people milling about. This chap, in a Home Guard uniform, sat down for a breather and gave me an opportunity.

The extra shows a small group of re-enactors, the nurse's stockings rather catch the eye!
