Our next city to visit. A warm day with clear blue skies by the afternoon.

We did a city tour to see the variety of classical buildings in old and newer styles. A walking tour round the extensively pedestrianised streets showed how many tourists there are in the city. The city and shops have realised that the freedom to walk makes for happy shoppers and greater profits!!

The exterior of St Stephen’s Cathedral is being cleaned in sections, the difference in colour is amazing (In extras). I don’t know how long it has been underway, but there is still lots to do. We were allowed to see the inside of the church and take photographs.

A visit to a traditional and very elegant coffee house was in order to enjoy Sacher cake and coffee. Well received by the group :0)
