The Dog Inn, Whittington

Yesterday evening we visited our friends R & K near Whittington in Staffordshire. It was our last social event of the festive season and included a fine meal, an exchange of presents and a lot of quiz games. We stayed the night and this morning went for a pleasant walk around Whittington, taking in the Birmingham & Fazeley canal, the parish church, and best of all the 17th century Dog Inn where we stopped for some lunch.
