Stirling Castle

One of my photos of Tantallon was a runner-up in the Scotsman-Historic Scotland photographic competition which is being exhibited at Stirling Castle until the end of January, before moving on to Edinburgh. A and P with the photo in today's blip. It was nice to see the full-size print - I'm don't do nearly enough printing but have been thinking of doing a lot more this year.

Haven't been round Stirling Castle since I was a teenager which wasn't yesterday. Well worth a visit particularly when quiet at this time of the year - tour guides were excellent and we can thoroughly recommend the Darnley Cafe near the Castle - good value and excellent food.
