A brace of John-Pauls
Had myself a bit of a Me Morning today, paid for by the flexi-time piggy bank.
I do love flexi-time:
- an extra half hour in bed
- a chat with the kids in the morning
- the school run (or rather ride) with Finn
- a leisurely morning cycle to the Forty Foot
- a leisurely swim at the Forty Foot
- a lazy drying session in the morning sun
- an unhurried Dart ride into town while reading Primo Levi
And a most enjoyable hour and a bit spent in the Little Museum of Dublin . It is so incredibly relaxing to be a tourist in my home town, one half flexi day at a time.
Here you can see our tour guide John Paul (he tried to pretend that his real name was Andrew but I am not buying it...) describing the Children of the Pope effect on the Irish population graph.
If you ever get a chance, check out the Little Museum of Dublin guided tour. It will be a tenner well spent.
A tough gig in a city where the state museums are free.
God, I love this city.
