STARLIGHT SMILE

We said our goodbyes to Marie today, born in Czechoslovakia she suffered under both the Nazi’s and the Russians until 1948 when she and her husband were able to escape and come to England, given British citizenship due to her husbands help to us in the war they settled in Sussex, brought up four children, two of them are now Professors, another a doctor, she was always telling me about the pride she had in her family.
I’ve known her for the past six years and watched as her health slowly failed, I’ll miss her greatly, God Bless and keep you safe dear Marie, another star has faded in my sky.
