River of Flowers

Friday: Conwy Honey Fair

Up early and on the bus just after 9am to go to the honey fair.
Weather very warm and pleasant and lots of lovely stalls.
I bought 2 plants, greater knapweed https://plantlife.love-wildflowers.org.uk/wildflower_garden/grow_in_the_garden/greater_knapweed and chasmanthium latifolium https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chasmanthium_latifolium also bought some of MrD’s favourite dry cured bacon and a huge bag of lavender which the lovely lady I bought lavender from last year had brought because she had a feeling I might come looking for some!! She’s from Rhosneigr on Anglesey
Walked along the quayside after having a late breakfast/early lunch at the usual café, which has changed hands.
I actually remembered to take a photo of the stalls this year, along with the quayside and one of the beds planted up by Incredible Edible group, see extra photos - the little sign says “When you do good things ... they spread”.
Whilst walking home from the bus stop noticed some lovely blackberries so MrD and I picked half a box full, now in the freezer for winter!
There’s a full moon tonight ...
Very tired, early night for sure ...
Happy Weekend everyone x
