'McGrars' corner

Some people call it Netherhall corner. It is the junction that, to the left the road goes to Allonby and Silloth, and round the corner up to Thursby, Crosby, Aspatria and right up to Carlisle.

We have friends in Crosby who are farmers and the farm has been in the same family for generations. His grandfather was keen on local history and kept a journal and this junction has always been known as McGrars corner.
