Whirring

........I managed to get out for a short walk ........it was lovely to be strolling in the sunshine :-))
I got as far as the dragonfly pond which was my target, so I was pleased with that and also thrilled to see lots of dragons about above the water.
While I was watching the dragons I could hear a squeaking occasionally coming from the far side, curiosity finally got the better of me and I went to see if I could see what was making it. Having got round there I couldn't immediately see anything but then suddenly spotted something move a little on the leaf covered pond edge. On closer inspection ( well, as close as I could get) I saw it was a very well camouflaged grass snake in the process of devouring a large frog ....whole and still alive!! I was mortified as I hate witnessing anything like that but nonetheless, being a keen wildlife photographer, I was absolutely fascinated. I decided that as the poor frog was no longer struggling I would take a couple of photos ( I can always delete them if I can bear to keep them ).
Anyway, I haven't used it as my main blip because I didn't want to spring it on you but it is in as an extra........it's not particularly gory but it is quite graphic, so please don't look if you might be upset by this :-)
