Saving the planet is not a crime!

On a beautiful autumn morning in Beverley it's hard to believe that the planet is in so much trouble. But scratch the surface and you will find that even in this lovely Yorkshire market town there are serious problems with traffic congestion, poor air quality, flooding and fracking to name but a few. These issues aren't going to go away.

Despite growing evidence, in true western style we always try to deal with symptoms but not causes. And always too little, too late.

Extinction Rebellion were demonstrating outside Beverley Magistrates Court today in support of one of their activists who is being held on remand as a result of being involved in peaceful protest.
