Aeonium with a visitor!

I spotted this daddy long legs making the most of my outdoor aeonium this morning.  It was still there three hours later so perhaps they are firm friends by now..  :)

It won't be long and l will have to bring the plant indoors as the temperatures at night are beginning to fall to where it will not like it anymore.  This plant l bought from a village hall plant sale as an aeonium schwartzkopf but l am not sure it is at this point as it hasn't reddened up over the summer which l thought it might.  It is proving to be very vigorous and has multiple young rosettes growing out from below this main one.  
Today l rescued a parlour palm from a skip.  I am hoping to give it a new lease of life although it may be too old .. we will see.  I have bought a new pot and am going to trim  the slightly browned off tips to the leaves so they are not so unsightly.. having got it potted up l realised how large it was (approx 6 ft high!!! ) watch this space!
