Flower Friday

These very pale chrysanthemums have made their way up to our new bedroom and are sitting minding their own business on the slow combustion heater. They are probably one of the best value flowers to buy from a florist. Even when they look like they’re on their last legs after a quick prune and fresh water they can perk up and live another day.

We had a visit from the Community Occupational Therapist this afternoon. Kathy has been the driving force who has helped us with all of the modifications throughout the home. I just know we would have had a monster of a job if we hadn’t had her support and guidance throughout the past few months. They are a great team of professionals who work in Community Health up here and we’ve been blessed to have been supported by many of them. Kathy’s main job today was to take me through the ins and outs of CCN’s new bed. It is certainly a game changer for us.
