A bit of Yellow? or Tinted Pink?
In the thumbnail it looks like this rose might be slightly yellow, but in the enlarged photo the bigger rose is tinted pink......however, usually this rose looks very white. I don't know why these two are slightly tinted. Aww..... the beauty of nature is so wonderful and fascinating.
Today was our Garden Club Meeting and our speaker never showed up......but it was a delightful morning with no rushing through the business meeting and sharing of a special cuttings from our gardens. I enjoy hearing about a new plant and seeing a branch with its flowers or fruits or seeds or fall coloring or whatever. Gardeners are almost as special as photographers......we have so much we have learned and we know there is a lot more we could learn from people who also love what we love. Of course, Blippers are a cut above the general population of photographers. :-))
We had to take Ellie to a Wellness Check at the Local WIC office today. she is supper healthy and on track BUT she didn't get her nap......she was will her mommy today at my son's house and they didn't get her down for a nap before the 3PM appointment. She was sooooo tired when we drove back to my son's house; she was kind of fussy and kept saying, "tired" in the most pitiful way. When she got home we put her in her crib and she wanted milk in her bottle.....but we were told "absolutely no more milk in bottles" only water and the bottle needs to be gone within a month. We heard, "it has to be consistent at both houses"........and the sooner we do it the better.....she will just get more and more resistant to change.....and more opinionated......and as she becomes more aware that she has options, she will develop very strong choices.....and she will learn to make us suffer with her unhappiness.
Oh, we will discover the power of crying and begging......life may just be getting more interesting. :-))
