Tomatoes
...inside plastic - with raindrops! Hooray! We're finally getting a good downpour and are forecast to have a couple of days of much-needed rain. I covered the tomatoes with plastic a couple of weeks ago hoping to keep the heat in to help them ripen. They're taking forever! I'll likely end up picking quite a few green ones. Not a great year for tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini or basil. We've had so many to give away in the past and this year we haven't even had enough for ourselves.
Kalyn's team is in California and played San Bernardino College today and didn't fare well, losing in 3 straight. K played well when she was on the court, started the first two games. The other team is ranked #2 nationally in Div. 2, so the girls did quite well against a stronger group. Scores: 19-25, 22-25, 14-25. Another game to watch later this afternoon.
Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday. The theme: Shapes
