The Green Man

Quite a busy day today!  This morning I had to sort out some materials for a session I am leading at church on Sunday to help the congregation think through what we have achieved over the last three years and what we might want to be able to offer an expect from a new vicar.  Should be interesting.

This afternoon we decided to venture into the City Centre to photograph some more sculptures.  A very different area from where we have been to before - much more modern and creative.  We finished by the Polish Millennium Centre (Good restaurant there I'm told) with a modern Madonna and Child, but on the way we found the Green Man in the Custard Factory.  You couldn't make that up could you?  He was most impressive.

With regard to sculptures, we did 149 sculptures in 8 months in the Black Country.  Now we have moved on to Birmingham and have done 50 sculptures in 3 weeks.  That will slow down a little now I think as we move out from the City Centre.  I am looking forward to seeing all the sculptures on the Art UK Sculpture database once it all goes live.
