Top o' t'hill

The subject of head torches was brought up on our hobble tonight, a sure sign that the weather and the nights are drawing in!  Here is tonight's team at the top of the hill we all fear on this particular route!

Much of my day has been spent painting the bathroom.  There was some flaking around the edges of the walls and on the ceiling so I took it off, rubbed it down and repainted the whole lot.  I'll put a second coat on at the weekend.

Meanwhile, in the Dolomites, Day 4 of Tony's trek was supposed to feature the ascent of Piz Boe, but again the snow thwarted them and they had to be content with contouring around the peak.  The views more than made up for the lack of a summit!  The food and the company are both good and the weather is set to be fine for several more days.  Tonight they arrived in the village of Corvara.
