Going to seed.....

I want to say like me!


After a morning of admin, washing and generally jobbing, I took my lunch out into the garden and D joined me after getting back from tennis. The sun was quite warm and the breeze ok too. 

The tallest sunflower has had its day. The seed head is heavy and bowed down and has a different beauty now. I love its detail and pattern.

My sweet peas have also finished flowering and have been taken down today. The dahlias however are still in full bloom and continuing to give colour to the garden. But we are definitely into September.
