London Loop Stage 15 - over the fields to Elstree

Well it’s Thursday and it’s walking another stage of the Loop. Another 9 miles off the target with a walk from Hatch End to Elstree.

It was getting near the end of the walk when we came out into open fields. Only 14 miles from Central London but this was what I would describe as a characteristic English scene. In the distance to the right is the village of Elstree with its church spire. The blue skies and fluffy clouds all added to the wonderfully peaceful scene of late summer.
