Remembering mum

Today was the anniversary of our mum passing away. So I decided to have a really relaxing day at the allotment. We've had potatoe blight so it was off with the shaws and a bit of light weeding leaving the potatoes in for when we are ready to eat them. We also pick a cabbage to go with our beef olives tonight and am also sure if our Dad were alive he would just love coming up to the allotment to cast his experienced eyes over the proceedings and just sit in the sun just like I was doing today.
