This is the £81 million Sheffield University engineering building - opened in 2015, and much photographed since ;) 
A bit extreme on the contrast and clarity, but otherwise SOOC for the abstract challenge today - thanks Ingeborg!
Our primary purpose in Sheffield was a follow-up consultant's appointment the Royal Hallamshire this morning - all good, but the scan of Roy's brain when it was all skewed to the side was rather interesting! The consultant pronounced "full restoration", explained why the pins and needles were happening on Roy's scalp, and said to continue building up activity like walking and running, but to wear a helmet for skiing ( we do anyway )! Perhaps he should wear it in bed, in case he falls out again in the middle of the night ;))
Afterwards a stroll down into the city centre for lunch at Marmaduke's, and a little light retail therapy...
