The Lanes

We had the whole day in Brighton today and the weather is perfect.
Excellent hotel breakfast followed by a stroll through The Lanes in an attempt to walk it off. 
We came about this scruffy cuteness in a doorway.
We sat in deckchairs on the pier, sat on the beach listening to the waves rattle the pebbles, I flew my tiny kite, we enjoyed fish & chips, we ate ice cream, I had a beer and N had a cocktail ...

A perfect seaside day.

Then back to London. My sister goes back Oop North tomorrow. It's been a splendid week even if it did start off with me being ill.
