Elephant Nature Park

I’m doing a week volunteering in an elephant sanctuary in Northern Thailand this week.
I don’t know if many of you know, but elephants are big money makers in Thailand. Unfortunately, they’re all horribly abused for our entertainment.
This place, Elephant Nature Park, rescues old, blind, injured and disabled elephants from their awful lives. They’re brought here to live out the rest of their lives in peace and are showered with love.
There are no ropes, no chains, no riding, no bathing, no bullhooks, no performing. Just freedom, from torture and misery.
