The Turning Time

A nice wander around Westonbirt today - the first for a long time, it feels like. It is early yet, but clearly autumn is beginning to colour the trees. Sadly too though there are signs that Ash die-back has arrived. Inevitable, I suppose, and one more sign of the ongoing climate change.

This evening was the first parish council meeting in a while too; my missing the July meeting due to holiday and there being none in August. We finished late (had to Resolve to continue past ten o'clock!) and had nearly twenty planning applications to go through. Mostly for new builds.
