Bannocks!

There are many different types of bannock made around Scotland; these are the Shetland variety. I got my mum to teach me how to make them when I was at home over the festive season, and bought a griddle (confusingly also known as a girdle!) so I could make my own in Edinburgh. This is my first attempt - they're not as good as my mum's, but they're not bad for a first solo attempt. Warm with butter they're heavenly... :-)
