This photograph shows two types of Lavender.

The purple flower is from a species of Lavendula, but which one I do not know.

It is growing through a Cotton Lavender, Santolina chamaecyparissus which has small yellow flowers.
Both thrive in a section of our garden and have been getting cosy with each other.
