The Testaments.

Walking back to the house I noticed a sign in the local bookshop advertising just a few signed copies of the new Margaret Atwood novel available at 12.01 am today. As Liz is a big fan we popped in to ensure that if we did indeed turn up there would be a chance of acquiring a copy. To be told that as well as the book a glass of wine would also be thrown in.
We duly arrived to an almost party atmosphere and wine glass in hand, chatted to the owner and his wife. It will prove to be a treasured memory of our stay in such a beautiful place.
