We walked
To the hardware store as the yanks would say. To get done DIY bits for husband. We walked to help ease the pressure nodules on my back. It felt a very long way I can't believe how physically draining a bad back is.
A family out with three dogs one was grizzly and the second - a terrier went for sweep. There was a scuffle and I screamed - bad backs render you helpless. Husband managed to pick the dog off by its harness - sweeps stitches were not affected and true to form immediately after he was wagging his tail looking forward in the direction we were going excited about his walk. He is such a gentleman as opposed to the dogs owner who had no word of apology and in fact started to get a bit gobby - I'm glad their English bull terrier was on its lead - Shame the terrier wasn't if it behaves like that!!!
Being a dog owner you know occasionally dogs will be dogs. But if you know yours is a scrapper either keep it on the lead or muzzle it. It's obvious if a dogs on the lead there is usually a reason for it - I.e. ours were on as we would not be able to keep them out the river.
Other than that a lovely walk although pathetically exhausting.
