Strange eggs and their capsules

The amaryllis flowers died back some time ago but I left the very long leaves on the plant. They have now withered as well. When I came to remove the now brown leaves from the drying bulb I noticed a collection of tiny egg receptacles attached to the underside of one of the leaves.

I removed the leaf to take a quick hand held shot of these strange containers. Some are obviously empty but there seem to be some which are still complete. I've no idea what creature has laid them but they provide a good subject for today's Tiny Tuesday challenge.
