Elephants in the garden.

It was a damp dewey morning with fog which quickly cleared to leave bright sunshine. This is the first of this years spider web mornings.

Later in the day, whilst talking to the customer whose garden I was in, I spotted 4 Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillars on her fuschia. These are large and impressive caterpillars, the biggest was about 6cm long. Fortunately she is very fond of wildlife and was pleased they were living in her garden.
