Swan upping - - - and downing!

Never mind Swan upping, these Swans were upping and downing like Yo-Yos ! Never did more than one have its head up at a time, they were bobbing all over the place preening and the feathers were flying!
A nice lazy morning then Colin and I went for a walk to Stockbridge. We had lunch at Cowan and Sons, or Maxi`s as I'm afraid we'll always know it as!
Walking back by Inverleith Park we came across many ducks in a row and these beautiful swans. All the birds were out of the water enjoying the sun, see extra too.
This evening Ali and Stuart came round and we rescued their couch from the garage as the field nice have been spotted heading for their winter quarters in there. They can be so destructive so we thought better safe than sorry.
