Wandering by Windermere
M fancied a trip up to Bowness.. we rarely go at this time of the year and when we go in winter it tends to be rather grey with bare trees.
So today was very pleasant. Everything looked so colourful . Mild and not windy and the sun came out too. There are lots of flowerbeds with magnificent Echinacea and Rudbeckia .
This view must be photographed every second at this time of the year but it is very easy on the eye.
It wasn't too busy.. well it was, but not as busy as it can be... Someone recommended The Angel for a drink and something to eat as it's dog friendly but also very good. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. ( see extras)
Visit to Fat Face where M bought a shirt. Then along the shoreline... those swans are definitely getting bigger. I'm not happy around birds so felt quite brave walking past them.
Porouring with rain now, so glad we got out today.
