Tour of Britain: Newcastle to Kendal

What a wonderful sunny afternoon for the Tour of Britain to come to Kendal!
We managed a great turnout from Hill Top as we all waited at the bottom of Beehive Lane.
Finally the fleet of police motorbikes began to pass and then suddenly the cyclists whizzed past with the helicopter overhead.
And then they were gone to the finish up the challenging Beast Banks and a very exciting finish it was with a sprint.
Have to wait until next year now!
