Wash’n’brush-up

Our patio has been looking rather grim, caked in ancient dried algae and in dire need of a spruce-up. So that was done today, with a thorough pressure-hosing of the stones and also of the picnic table. It all now looks much better, and ready for stage two: some repointing between the paving stones. That’s next week’s task for gardener Ollie.
