IN STEAM

Class Q6 LNER steam locomotive 63395, now known as NER 2238, prepares to leave Pickering Station this morning. Owned by the North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group, she is operated on the NYMR. As a Class T2 0-8-0 engine, she was completed by the NER at Darlington North Road Works on 2nd December 1918, one of eight built that year.
