On the washing line

Great to see butterflies in the garden again today.
However, I’m of the opinion that they are landing on things other than flowers and plants now.
The other day, three landed on me - not all together
In the photo, here is a lovely red admiral on one of our tea towels
I’ve also seen them on holly bushes, walls and clothes poles.
Perhaps it’s because there aren’t so many flowers about now or they just need a place to rest.
P.S. we have lots of “rabbit” things in the house - tea towels, wallpaper, ornaments, photographs, carrots etc
