They’re back

My butterflies, that is.

My birds are slowly forgiving me for not filling their feeders since last Friday night.

The butterflies took advantage of a brief warm phase of sunshine. Not quite the clouds of Painted ladies that we had last month, but certainly two of them. But there were lots of Small Tortoiseshell visitors and plenty of Red Admirals.

The sun ha now gone, and so have they.
