I LUV SUMMER!

We have just returned from a weekend away in Gore Bay. 48 hours away from home and we have come home completely refreshed (and suntanned!). Lots of Sun, Sea, Sand and Surf, and a bit of Pinot Gris in between!
Gore Bay is a wee "Slice of Heaven", just over an hour north of Christchurch. Why it has taken us 7 and a half years to find this perfect holiday spot is beyond me! But now we have found it, we are already booking a week for next January.

This picture is my latest addiction - a healthy one at least! A fruit salad filled with summer fruits makes me feel like a little girl again! It reminds me of the summer holidays spent in Cape Town, when we still lived in Johannesburg - stopping at the Old Cape Farm Stall and buying the most heavenly fruit! Yummo!
Back to work tomorrow - argh - but nothing like knowing that it is only 2 weeks til our next break, and then ...... Noosa here we come!!
