Grape Hyacinth

or Matchsticks.....I usually blip these every every spring, the patch is getting big now and making a decent show.  The little heads emerge from the tangled green leaves...love them.

A day spent at in the garden, cutting edges and some digging....starting to look as if someone lives here now.  Doug spent time in his veggie garden, preparing for some planting.  The spuds are up, this morning they got a bit of a shock when we had a very heavy frost  -5°  
Geez it was cold, but the sun has shone all day, the wind again perishing.
The temperatures are expected to rise later in the week thankfully.
